Who We Are
Our History
CRYC was established following decisions made at three Caribbean Youth Leaders Summits held in 2011, 2012, and 2013. Youth representatives from across the Caribbean recognized the need for a unified regional body to advocate for and advance the development agenda of Caribbean youth.
Our Approach
Since its inception, CRYC has sought to establish itself as a strategic youth governance network and advocacy movement promoting regional representation, integration, and cooperation as a platform for youth development. A key part of CRYC’s core mandate is positioning the Council as an essential engine not only for advancing the cause of youth but as a catalyst towards democracy, social transformation, and good governance.
Our Collaboration
CRYC works collaboratively with key partners towards the common purpose of:
- Accentuating youth social inclusion
- Promoting youth economic empowerment
- Encouraging active youth participation in creating sustainable futures for the Caribbean
Our Vision
To become the Caribbean’s unified and highly empowered engine for youth development.
Our Mission
To facilitate a strategic youth governance and advocacy movement with one voice, working towards regional representation, integration, and cooperation as a platform for youth development.
