Kendell Vincent

Chairperson

Kendell Vincent is a Youth Development and Communications professional from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, passionate about the holistic development of children and youth. Currently pursuing a BA in Communications at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine. With over fifteen years of experience in servant leadership across the non-profit sector at various levels. Kendell is a cultural lover and fuses his experience as a creative towards conceptualizing innovative strategies to engage children and youth, having seen the tremendous impact of the arts in the transformation of lives.
With his vast experience, Kendell currently serves as the Chairperson of the Caribbean Regional Youth Council as well as Deputy Co-Chair of the Commonwealth Year of Youth Advisory Committee and Trustee of the Trinidad Youth Council.

Chelsea Antoine

Secretary

“The day you stop seeking knowledge is the day you stop growing.”-These are words that hold great value to Ms. Chelsea Antoine. Ms. Antoine is an entrepreneur, activist, and advocate with a deep passion for both Public Health and Youth Development. She holds a BHSc in Health Sciences with a specialization in Community Health from the UWI Cave Hill Campus. Chelsea’s commitment to reforming healthcare systems, and reducing health disparities and inefficiencies within the health sector locally and regionally has propelled her further pursuit of a Master’s of Public Health.
Ms. Antoine’s commitment to service has led her to serve in various capacities across the service sector. As a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Youth Ambassadors, she has served as Regional Rep and Vice President of International Affairs and External Partnerships. Further, she served as the District Liaison Officer of the Trinidad Youth Council. Chelsea currently serves as the Secretary of the Caribbean Regional Youth Council.

Devaraine Rowe

Vice Chair Membership and Engagement

Devaraine Rowe is a dynamic and accomplished individual with a diverse background in leadership, education, and community engagement.
Devaraine is a Munro College Past Student in Jamaica who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Relations and Criminology. Currently, Devaraine is finalizing his Master of Science degree in International Public and Development Management at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, showcasing his commitment to furthering his education and expertise in his field.
His engagement in regional and global youth organizations is notable, as he currently serves as the Vice Chairperson at the Caribbean Regional Youth Council and the Lead of Membership and Engagement for the Commonwealth Youth Peace Ambassadors Network. Additionally, his role as a Resident Advisor at the University of the West Indies Mona, Jamaica demonstrates his dedication to supporting and guiding fellow students.
As an educator specializing in Sociology and Caribbean Studies, Devaraine contributes to shaping the knowledge and perspectives of students in these fields. Outside of his academic and leadership pursuits, Devaraine is a sports enthusiast, having represented Jamaica in cricket twice at the youth level. His favorite quote, "See it big, keep it simple," reflects his approach to life and his visionary mindset.

Jahnoy Leith

Vice Chair Resource Mobilization & Partnerships

Jahnoy Leith is a Regulation and Policy Professional, with a first degree in Finance and Economics, and an MSC in International Relations and Government. Currently the Acting Senior Director of Regulations, Policy Monitoring, and Enforcement at the Jamaica Special Economic Zone Authority, he sits on various steering committees as well as task forces aiding in policy development of national importance. He has a considerable track record of leadership stemming from various office held. He is also an Adjunct lecturer as well as the CEO of Infinitum Jamaica Limited.
Jahnoy currently serves as the Vice Chairperson, Resource Mobilization and Partnerships of the Caribbean Regional Youth Council.

Shemar Wedderburn

Vice Chair Policy and Advocacy

Shamar has lived a life dedicated to impacting and empowering those around him. He is purpose-driven, results-oriented, and inspired to help others on their growth journey. He is passionate about sharing knowledge with others while championing authentic people development.
Among Shamar’s roles over the past 6 years that have helped to develop his skills are: Commonwealth Peace Ambassador, Vice-President, and later President of the regional UWISTAT Vice-Chancellor’s Ambassador Corps, Advisor, and Policy & Advocacy member to the National Youth Council of Jamaica, a Youth Parliamentarian in the Caribbean Youth Parliament on Climate Justice and now serves as Vice Chairperson- Policy & Advocacy on the Caribbean Regional Youth Council Executive Board.
In 2021, Shamar founded ‘Equipped to Speak’ delivering Online Public Speaking Coaching for Youth now as an incorporated company, Equipped to Speak Personal Development Ltd. Has become an entity that facilitates a myriad of Personal and Professional development-based Workshops geared toward young professionals through training or interactive team building activities.
On top of completing an online Specialization Certificate in Dynamic Public Speaking offered by the University of Washington, Shamar brings a unique ‘melting pot’ experience through NGO involvement and working with young people for their overall development and manages to bring all of this out in his enthusiastic and relatable speaking sessions. Closer to home, he has worked as a youth development partner with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Multi- country office in Jamaica.

Jered Salvary

Board Member Training and Development

Mr. Jered Salvary is an Attorney-at-Law with a Bachelor of Law (Hons) (LLB) from the University of the West Indies - Mona, Jamaica. In 2021 he was also awarded a Legal Education Certificate by the Sir Hugh Wooding Law School, Trinidad and Tobago.
Passionate about youth development and empowerment, at an early age Mr. Salvary realized there was a need within him to always serve and make a change. That has encouraged him to work in organizations where his services extend to the public and he can be a valuable asset. Serving in various capacities under Non-Profit Organizations and Faith Based Organizations both in Trinidad and Tobago, and Jamaica, Mr. Salvary was drawn into servant leadership which paved the way for his contribution to the development of youth in the Caribbean. Mr. Salvary currently serves as a Board Member of the Trinidad and Tobago Youth Ambassadors and a Board Member of the Caribbean Regional Youth Council in charge of the Training and Development portfolio, a portfolio he is passionate about.
Living by the mantra, "We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone." - Ronald Reagan, Mr. Salvary's goal in his personal and professional journey is to leave an impact on the lives of persons he comes into contact with, who will then be encouraged to do the same unto others. Mr. Salvary's commitment is to helping young persons to become the best they can be.

He is proficient in utilizing a range of marketing tools and platforms to optimize campaign performance and analyze data-driven insights. He thrives in dynamic environments where he can collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm ideas, execute campaigns, and analyze results to continuously improve outcomes.
Known for his strong communication skills and attention to detail, Bobby excels in project management and multitasking, ensuring that campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. He is passionate about staying ahead of industry trends and exploring innovative approaches to digital marketing to stay competitive in the ever-evolving digital landscape.

Jessica Forbes

Jessica K Forbes is an accomplished entrepreneur and young professional, who owns and operates two successful businesses. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Management and Administration, showcasing her dedication to academic excellence and professional growth. A passionate advocate for community service, Jessica sees volunteering as a powerful way to make a positive impact. As a servant leader, Jessica serves in varying capacities within the youth development sector. Jessica currently is the Caribbean Regional Youth Council (CRYC) 's Senior Program Coordinator.

Beyond her professional achievements, Jessica is an avid poetry lover who finds inspiration at the sea in her downtime. She also enjoys the thrill of cricket and deeply appreciates the sport. In her leisure time, she indulges in her love for singing, blending her creative pursuits with her professional endeavors.
